Taweet for Twitter | Blog

http://taweet.com - Taweet (beta) is a free Twitter application and social calendar that allows people and businesses to streamline promotional scheduling for events, product launches, lifecasting and more! Unlike Twitter scheduling applications you may have seen before, Taweet is focused on promoting the topics of your Future Tweets (FT) up until they occur to create buzz or to share with friends.

You spoke and we listened! Taweet Beta v2

We are excited to announce the changes to Taweet that you’ve been asking for! There is a new menu at the top of your home page to give you more control over how you share your Future Plans. You can click to toggle these options…

Future Plans | Create 140 character posts that describe what’s happening in the future.

Right Now | Create real-time Twitter posts from Taweet.

Link | Click to toggle whether you would like to add the short-link to your topic’s comments page.

Share Now | Click to toggle whether you would like to share your Future Plans right away with your followers.

We’ve also added a Twitter Preview box that shows how your post will be shared to Twitter. Please do not hesitate to email your feedback and help us shape the future of Taweet.

Future Search

A large part of Taweet’s design and purpose is searching the future. All of the future events that are created on Taweet are included in Taweet search.

Date range search has been available for a couple weeks and we just made available an early version of keyword search. As we continue to grow and users add more content we hope that Taweet will become your destination for searching and promotion future events.

90 seconds is all the time you will need to learn how to use Taweet. It’s really that easy!

Attach URL to Posts

The new “http://” form field allows you to add a URL to your post. Attaching a link separate from your post text will save you characters and also make your Twitter posts look nice and clean. This link will be visible with your post anywhere it appears on Taweet.

Alpha testing Taweet Search

An early version of Taweet search functionality was pushed live this morning. You can search Future Tweets that users have been creating on the Taweet platform. Some changes and features are still in development but we chose to roll out a preview so users can get a feel of how it works. http://taweet.com/search

Taweet in Chrome & Safari

A couple minor design issues users were experiencing in Google Chrome and Apple Safari web browsers have been corrected.
